General

Can I take Ojara if I’m pregnant or breastfeeding?

We don’t recommend either product during pregnancy or breastfeeding without your provider’s guidance. Haritaki (in Triphala) is traditionally contraindicated in pregnancy, and Shilajit hasn’t been studied enough in this context for us to make a call either way. When in doubt, loop in your provider first.

Can I take these alongside my multivitamin or other supplements?

Generally yes. The one thing worth knowing: Shilajit is mineral-dense, so if you’re also taking an iron supplement, talk to your provider first. The combination isn’t automatically a problem, but it’s worth a second opinion, especially if you have any history of iron overload.

Are these appropriate for teens or kids?

Triphala isn’t recommended under 12, and Shilajit isn’t recommended under 18, unless a qualified healthcare practitioner has advised otherwise. Both formulas are built for adult bodies and adult dosing.

I take prescription medication or manage a health condition. Is that a dealbreaker?

Not necessarily, but it’s worth a conversation with your provider first, especially if you’re managing blood pressure, blood sugar, an autoimmune condition, or taking blood thinners. Every product page lists full contraindications; we’d rather you read those than guess.

Shilajit · Daily Vitality

Why should I wait before drinking coffee?

We recommend waiting 30–60 minutes before having coffee. Giving Shilajit time to absorb first helps you get the most from both your supplement and your morning coffee.

Will Shilajit make me feel wired like coffee?

No. Unlike caffeine, Shilajit doesn’t stimulate your nervous system. Instead, it supports your body’s natural energy production, helping promote steady energy, focus, and vitality without the spikes and crashes commonly associated with coffee.

When should I take it?

For best results, take one capsule first thing in the morning on an empty stomach with warm water. Wait 30–60 minutes before eating breakfast or drinking coffee to allow for optimal absorption.

Is Shilajit safe to take every day?

Yes, purified Shilajit is intended for daily use as a long-term rasayana. The safety concern with Shilajit is almost always about sourcing (raw vs. purified/tested), not frequency.

Can I take Shilajit with Triphala?

Yes. They complement each other well as part of a daily Ayurvedic routine. We recommend taking Shilajit in the morning to support natural energy and vitality, and Triphala in the evening before bed to support healthy digestion and regular elimination.

Does Ojara use raw shilajit?

No. Raw Shilajit may contain heavy metals and other contaminants if it hasn’t been properly purified. OJARA Shilajit is traditionally purified (Shuddha) and third-party tested to help ensure purity, quality, and safety.

Can I take Shilajit if I’m on medication?

If you take medication for diabetes, blood pressure, or another medical condition, consult your healthcare provider before using Shilajit. They can help determine whether it’s appropriate for your individual needs.

When will I notice a difference?

Everyone responds differently. Some people notice steadier energy and focus within the first week, while others experience more gradual benefits over several weeks of consistent daily use.

Does Shilajit contain caffeine?

No. Shilajit is naturally caffeine-free. It supports your body’s natural energy production without acting as a stimulant, making it a great option for those looking to reduce their reliance on coffee.

Why are the capsules so dark?

Shilajit is naturally rich in minerals and fulvic compounds, giving it its deep brown to nearly black color. Slight variations in color are normal and reflect the natural origin of the ingredient.

Who is Shilajit for?

Shilajit is ideal for adults looking to support steady energy, mental clarity, stamina, resilience, and overall vitality as part of a healthy daily routine.

What makes Ojara Shilajit different?

OJARA uses traditionally purified Himalayan Shilajit (Shuddha) that is third-party tested for purity and quality. Each capsule is formulated to deliver a simple, consistent daily ritual inspired by centuries of Ayurvedic tradition, without unnecessary fillers or stimulants.

Triphala · Digestive Reset

Will Triphala work like a laxative?

No. Triphala isn’t a stimulant laxative or harsh cleanse. It has traditionally been used to gently support healthy digestion, comfortable elimination, and your body’s natural cleansing processes. Most people experience gradual, consistent support rather than an urgent effect.

When should I take it?

For best results, take two capsules in the evening, about 30–60 minutes before bed, with warm water.

Can I take Triphala every day?

Yes. Triphala has been used for thousands of years in traditional Indian medicine as a daily herbal formula to support digestive health. It is intended for consistent, long-term use when taken as directed.

Can I take Triphala with Shilajit?

Absolutely. They complement each other well as part of a daily wellness routine. We recommend taking Shilajit in the morning to support energy and vitality, and Triphala in the evening to support digestion and regular elimination.

Will Triphala upset my stomach?

Some people notice mild digestive changes during the first few days, especially if they’re new to Triphala. This may include softer stools or more frequent bowel movements as your body adjusts. Starting with the recommended serving and staying hydrated can help.

How long does it take to work?

Everyone is different. Some people notice digestive changes within a few days, while others experience more gradual improvements over several weeks of consistent daily use.

Can I take Triphala if I have diarrhea?

If you’re currently experiencing diarrhea or loose stools, it’s best to wait until your digestion has returned to normal before taking Triphala. If you have a medical condition affecting your digestion, consult your healthcare provider before use.

Can I take Triphala with medication?

If you take prescription medications or have an existing medical condition, speak with your healthcare provider before adding Triphala to your routine.

What is Triphala made from?

Triphala is a blend of three fruits traditionally used in Indian medicine: Amalaki, Bibhitaki, and Haritaki. Together, they have been used for centuries to support digestive health and overall well-being.

Why take Triphala at night?

Evening is the traditional time to take Triphala because it works alongside your body’s natural overnight digestive and cleansing processes, helping support comfortable elimination the following morning.

Is Triphala a cleanse?

No. Unlike short-term cleanses or detoxes, Triphala is designed to support your body’s normal digestive function and natural cleansing processes as part of a long-term daily routine.

What makes Ojara Triphala different?

Ojara combines traditionally used Triphala fruit extracts in a simple daily formula inspired by centuries of Indian medicine. Every batch is carefully sourced and crafted to support digestive health without relying on harsh stimulants or unnecessary fillers.

How should I take The Complete Ritual?

Take one Shilajit capsule each morning on an empty stomach with warm water. In the evening, take two Triphala capsules about 30–60 minutes before bed with warm water.

Can I take both every day?

Yes. Both formulas are intended for consistent daily use as part of a long-term wellness routine when taken as directed.

Everyone responds differently. Some people notice steadier energy or improved digestion within the first week, while others experience more gradual benefits over several weeks of consistent use.

Do either of these contain caffeine?

No. Both Shilajit and Triphala are naturally caffeine-free.

Will Shilajit replace my morning coffee?

Not necessarily. Shilajit isn’t a stimulant like caffeine. It supports your body’s natural energy production rather than creating a temporary boost. If you drink coffee, we recommend waiting 30–60 minutes after taking Shilajit before having your first cup.

Will Triphala act like a laxative?

No. Triphala gently supports healthy digestion and regular elimination rather than forcing bowel movements like stimulant laxatives.
